the Poetry of Life – #009

Tall and graceful now you standDSC_0028
Where once you barely reached my hand
I can’t believe how fast you’ve grown
Now ready for life on your own
Off to college soon you’ll go
After this dress and big grad show
Then to the work you want to do
And your own place with all things new
Another day for you too soon will come
When your heart you give to another one
Although it’s moving for me too fast
Our “mom and daughter” I know will last
I love you dearly at every age
You’re a beautiful girl at every stage.
